New Leadership for Talma Colombia

As of June 9, 2026, Julián Laverde Bermúdez serves as General Manager of Talma Colombia. With more than 20 years of experience in the aviation industry, he has held senior leadership positions in leading companies within the sector, including CEO of Avianca Express and Senior Vice President of Network Operations and Ground Operations at Avianca.

A Mechanical Engineer from Universidad de los Andes and an MBA graduate from INALDE Business School, Julián brings a solid background in leadership, strategic management, and the direction of complex operations. His experience and vision contribute to strengthening the high standards of safety, quality, efficiency, and operational excellence that characterize Talma.

Gonzalo Aristizábal, who successfully led Talma Colombia’s operation for more than twelve years, assumes the role of Corporate Manager of Talent and Culture. From this position, he will contribute to strengthening organizational culture, leadership, and people development across the different countries where the company operates.
